Elena Greenberg is of counsel in the McCarthy Law PLC Des Moines office and a licensed Iowa attorney.

Ms. Greenberg holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology from the University of Iowa. She graduated from Drake University Law School with a Juris Doctor in 2009. While in law school, Ms. Greenberg interned at the American Judicature Society and the Iowa Attorney General’s Office. She practiced as a student attorney at the Middleton Children’s Rights Clinic and volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate.

Ms. Greenberg is a former Assistant Attorney General in the Child Support Recovery Unit. Ms. Greenberg has experience as a private attorney in Family Law, Criminal Defense, Debt Collection, and Child Welfare. Ms. Greenberg has also trained as a mediator and collaborative law attorney.

Ms. Greenberg is passionate about helping families and individuals in a variety of difficult circumstances, including financial difficulties.
