Susan M. Weaver is of counsel in the McCarthy Law PLC Fairview Park, OH office. Admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1980, Ms. Weaver has practiced in the Ohio Courts of Common Pleas and various Municipal Courts throughout the State of Ohio. She has assisted countless men and women in the Cleveland and Lorain metropolitan areas through divorces, juvenile court issues and bankruptcies.

Prior to becoming an attorney Ms. Weaver had a career in Social Work which gives her a unique perspective on the legal issues faced by her clients.

Ms. Weaver attended undergraduate school at Western Reserve University, holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from Case Western Reserve University and graduated from Law School at Cleveland State University Cleveland Marshall College of Law.

Ms. Weaver has been active in many community organizations including the Legal Aide Society.

Ms. Weaver has conducted seminars on Divorce, Custody, and Bankruptcy, and designed a multimedia presentation with the Domestic Relations Court to educate the public about the divorce process. She also designed and implemented a program for the Court to train social workers and attorneys to represent children in custody disputes.
